Grey District Athletics postponed again

The Grey District Athletics sports have been postponed until Monday 13 November.  Notices have been handed out to students this afternoon and the Return Slip should be returned to school tomorrow.

Paroa School Temporary Closure

We wish to inform you that during the deconstruction process of the junior block refurbishment, asbestos was found.  To remove the asbestos in a safe manner we require a class B licensed asbestos removal contractor.

With the support of the Ministry of Education, Paroa School will be closed for four days for the work to be undertaken.  This includes the school hall, grounds and court areas.  The work will occur from Friday 10 November through to Monday 13 November.  We anticipate that school will have clearance to open again on Tuesday 14 November at 8.30am.  Final confirmation that Paroa School will re-open on Tuesday will be emailed to school families no later than 3pm, Monday 13 November, or check the website.
